*To request a bulk update of equipment from support, please provide..*

Read the instructions on the import page carefully. Update can only be done with an import file that has the Inspectio GUID in the **Equipment Id** column. **If this GUID is missing, the import will assume the equipment is new**. Inspectio will notify you what actions is to be done before you confirm. It is a good rule to only include the rows you want to make changes on to prevent any unintentional changes.

Go to your asset and select the arrow next to configure and select **Import Data**:

Typical use cases for update

- Change name
- Change info in a property
- Change equipment labels
- Move equipment from one location to another (by removing and adding the location label name path)

 

**Removal of labels in excel**

Use a minus (-) in front of the label you want to remove before import. If there is only one label to be removed you may get some formatting issues in excel where Excel expects a formula, this can be bypassed by changing the cell format to text.

**Add new labels in excel**

You must use a label text that already exists. New labels must first be added to the asset list of available labels. Contact support@inspectio.no as adding new labels are not released for local admins.
